Check it! Thanks to Pixiedyke over at What the Hell?, I’ve got pics! Expect future experiments in food photography. Hooray! I invite you to take a second look at So Long Honkouver, and Thanks for the Five Pounds for the most rocking Dim Sum ever at the best named restaurant anywhere, The Pink Pearl. See the crafty glory of my adventures in canning vegetables over at Double, Bubble Toil and Trouble.
Lastly, you can finally get a peek of the most incredibly vintage tiki bar in America, The Alibi, over at Timewarp: Our Last Night in Portland.
Sit back, relax, and take a break from all that yucky reading. More photos to come.
Photos look great. That dim sum looks scrumptious and I love the canning photo. Keep up the great work GourmetGRRRL
Reading this month’s “mind, body & spirit fitness” magazine, a blurb caught my eye and made me think of you:
groodie definition: a ‘green’ foodie; a food enthusiast for whom the sourcing and overall virtuousness of any given foodstuff is as important as its pleasure-giving qualities– David Kamp, coauthor of “The Food Snob’s Dictionary”.
In my opinion, not everything needs a label. But, obviously, there are considerably worse labels out there. Your thoughts?
“Groodie” sounds a lot like “grody”. You know, like when something tastes bad.
