- I spend most of my time trying not to eat at restaurants three times a day. I subscribe to Cook's Illustrated just for the brief articles about new kitchen appliances. I have six kitchen appliances I have never used. I love new kitchen appliances, but I don't really like used kitchen appliances. I am a demanding customer and a great tipper. I believe in congratulating the chef after a good meal. I frequent the same places so as to get special privileges as a valued diner. My dream is to have a sushi roll named after me. I already have one, but it's only known in two restaurants. I open every fortune cookie. Until traveling to Italy this past summer, I thought I could eat Asian food for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of my life. My favorite emotion is hunger. I'm disappointed when I'm not hungry. I believe that you must make eye contact during a toast. I believe in loud dinners. I have no use for breakfast and I would like it to go away. I wish I could remember to pray or have a moment of thanks or something before every meal, but I never remember.
